| 内容記述 | The purpose of this study is to clarify the horizontal distribution of heat island around valley mouth and its temporal variation. Simultaneous observations of multiple points were taken about one month in Oume city, Tokyo during the period from October 31 to November 22, 2000. Near the valley mouth, the distribution of surface air temperature also changed rapidly around sunset since this is where the circulatory system changes in a short amount of time. The prominent pattern was determined via principal component analysis from the distribution of air temperature anomaly around the valley mouth. In addition, the principal component analysis found the pattern to be relatively warm in the urban area. The study revealed that the horizontal distribution pattern of surface air temperature in the study area passes through five stages that correspond to daytime, sunset, just before midnight, after midnight, and morning. | |||||||||||
