The results of the analyses are summarized as follows: 1. The average rainfall duration of the Type IV is shorter than it of the Type II. And, the former precipitation is less than the latter. Therefore, the value that in the former, EC is higher than the latter, and that pH is low is shown. 2. The fraction acidity of the Type IV shows the value which is higher than that of the Type II. Therefore, in the Type IV, the neutralization by the alkali is less than the Type II, and the acidity rises. 3. The contribution to the acidification by N0_3^- in the Type IV is bigger than that of the Type II. 4. The fluctuating range of pH of acid rain is settled with the increase in the precipitation.
